I performed at Childrens Hospital Boston last night in the ER.   I work with Big Apple Circus bringing laughter bedside.   Since there is a lot of waiting around magic and juggling and general nonsense seem to go over big.

I find its the absurd things that work best.   Last night we had a giant fake jar of Peanut butter and we were looking for a big bar of chocolate or jelly to make a sandwich.   Juggling clubs and performing small magic work well too.

I would just like to wish my Mom a Happy Mothers Day and my wonderful wife for being such a great mom to our two boys.   Have a great day everyone.

I had the pleasure of performing for a great group of girls at a sleep over on Sat may 7th.   The girls were quite silly by the time we started the show and my first trick had to be making a stuff turtle named Bob disappear.  After that we moved on to loads of fun and magic.  I used my snake basket for the first time and Ralph the snake pick the right card after a few mistakes.   The mind reading part of the show was awesome and I think that it was a great show due to a great audience.    Concord Mass. is a great town and I would love to go there in the fall to see the leaves turn.

Its 9/11 and I was at an event today that would benefit child in need of food and Care.

The Good Life Festival.  It was a wonderful day for families to hang outside and play and watch some live entertainment and listen to some Great Live Music.

Friends from the Big Apple Circus were there and Dan Zane !

I am going to try an go again tomorrow but I might have to stay home and be a Dad which would be great.

Working from home is challenging ..lots of distractions.   Even when I am home alone it seems I can easily get off track.  Home projects, laundry,cooking a wonderful snack.  But when the creative juices are flowing..watch out, its Magic Time.  

Life of an entertainer.   

So this is the first post to my New Blog.   The life of a magician experienced by me.

I'm not really paying attention or focused right now because I am waiting to see if the garbage truck takes all the stuff I left out.  In the Middle of redoing our basement and I left an a giant amount of trash and I busted up wooden table.  They are  here...he is looking at it.....he is looking at it....YES he is throwing it into the truck.  OK I can focus on my new Blog.   I need a name for it.  I want to share my experience of trying to be come a busier entertainers.   My first advice to new entertainers is to take marketing classses.  This will put you ahead of the game.

 I have a wonderful gig in Braintree for the Big Apple Circus.  They are in town and I do promo work for them.  It is at the South Shore Plaza and I will be Juggling and wearing a Big Red Nose Promoting their New Show Bello is back.  Then it is back to do some more marketing and mailings.

I feel I have a very fun show and it is just getting the word out that is the challenge. I will post what is working and what is not.   I do feel that just placing adds and having a website is not the way to go.   You need to after customers direct.
